Hancock, Maryland
Anna Lee Hensley, age 86, a resident of Berkeley Springs Rehab and Nursing, Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and formerly of Hancock, died Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the facility.
Born February 22, 1926, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Otis Barney and Mary Stotler Barney Zimmerman, and widow of Robert Hensley, Sr.
She was a cleaner with Londontown Manufacturing, in Hancock, and worked at Interwoven Mills, in Berkeley Springs.
She was a member of Webster B. Harrison Post 26 American Legion Auxiliary, in Hancock, Md.
She is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Hensley, of Hagerstown, Md., and Connie Hovermale, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va.; two sons, Robert Hensley, Jr., of Chambersburg, Pa., and Steve Hensley of, Al-Choral, Saudi Arabia; two brothers, Tom Barney, of Nekoosa, Wi., and Ernest Barney, of Milwaukee, Wi.; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
There will be a gathering of family and friends on Sunday, May 20, 2012, from 2 to 5 p.m., at the Webster B. Harrison post 26 American Legion, in Hancock, where there will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
