Joseph John Matrey, age 63, of Quaker Creek Road, Hancock, died July 24, 2012, at his home.
Born August 22, 1948, in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Joseph Matrey, Jr. and Gladys Chenowerth Matrey.
He was retired, as a truck driver, from Lancaster Foods, in Jessup, Md.
He is survived by one daughter, Melissa Matrey; and one son, Jimmy Matrey; two sisters, May Myers, of Owings Mills, Md., and Sarah Simsic, of Finksburg, Md.; and one brother, Anthony Matrey, of Taneytown, Md. Also surviving are a number of grandchildren; and one great-grandson
