Steva D. Quick, age 87, of Hancock, and formerly of Star Hill, N.C., died Saturday, July 28, 2012, at Farney-Keedy Memorial Home, in Boonsboro, Md.
Born May 8, 1925, in Kinston, N.C., she was the daughter of the late Lewis Justus and Mae Stephenson Dupree, and the widow of George A. Quick.
She was a homemaker and a Presbyterian.
She was a member of the National Council of State Garden Clubs; and a life judge and Flower Show School instructor.
She is survived by two daughters, Judith Quick, of Hancock, and Susan Quick, of Kaneohe, Hi.; two granddaughters, Amanda and Hannah.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Louis Dupree.
Services and burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements were handled by the Grove Funeral Home, in Hancock, Md.
