Dear Mr. and Mrs. Appel,
I did not know your daughter Brittany and I only met you on the tragic day that she died. But my heart goes out to you and your younger daughter. God's strong and loving arms are wrapped around you and God will continue to guide you in the days to come. May the peace of God which passes all understanding be your comfort. If there is anything else I can do please don't hesitate to email. Remember I live very near the nursing home in Cumberland.

Dear Mr. and Mrs. Appel,
I am so sorry to hear about Brittany's passing. I know that I and many others will miss her ready smile and infectious laugh. The last time I saw her was in her last year at Hancock High in the cafeteria line. As usual, she was joking and laughing with a friend. Before long, they had me in stitches and doubled over in laughter! That is how I will remember Brittany. You and Kimberly are in my thoughts and prayers.

Beverly, Craig and Kimmie,
John and I were shocked and saddened to hear the news about Brittany. We can only imagine how difficult this is for you, all. We enjoyed the time we spent with the girls at St. Peter's and remember them fondly. Brittany was so happy when she completed RCIT and became a member of our Parish. She was especially pleased that her dad was there on her special day! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Dear Family & Friends of Brittany,
I graduated with Brittany & talked to her when I seen her. She came off as a quiet girl if you didn't know her but once you talked to her, you knew she was a sweet & caring friend. When my mother called me to inform me of this, I was in complete shock (I am now in Virginia for college). I am deeply sorry to hear about this and all my prayers go out to the family. She is truly missed & is an even better place now!
