Warfordsburg, PA
     Julia Pauline Truax, age 80, of Great Cove Road, died Thursday February 18, 2010 at the Berkeley Springs Rehab & Nursing Facility, Berkeley Springs, WV.

     Born in Fulton County PA., she was the daughter of the late Harry T. and Wavey Stotler Mills and widow of Harold H. Truax, who passed away September 15, 2004. 

        She was a homemaker and had been employed by the Park n' Dine Restaurant in Hancock, MD.
     She was a member of the Cedar Grove Christian Church, Warfordsburg, PA.

     She is survived by one daughter, Doris A. Kerns of Berkeley Springs, WV. and one son, Raymond P. Truax, Sr. of Warfordsburg, PA.; six sisters, Kathleen Yuen, Mae Tucillo, Alice Younker, Peggy McAllister, Edna Knable, Susan Peck; four brothers, Harold Mills, Gerald "Boe" Mills, Roger Mills, Wilbur Peck; also five grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, Herman Truax and one sister Betty Lou Mills, and one brother, Harry Mills, Jr.    

     Services will be held on Tuesday February 23, at 11:00am at the Cedar Grove Christian Church. The Rev. William Swope will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery.

     The family will receive friends Monday Febrary 22, from 2-4 and 6-8p.m. at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock and from 10-11a.m. at the church on Tuesday.
