Kenneth Frederic Shotting, Sr., 84, of Moon Township, PA. and New Smyrna Beach, FL., died on February 21 in Jacksonville, FL., after suffering from complications following open heart surgery. He was born October 19, 1925 in Hancock, MD.  

Mr. Shotting is survived by his spouse, Jean Cochrane.  A loving husband to the late Sarah T. Shotting, he is also survived by their six children; Kenneth F. Shotting, Jr., Karen M. Shotting, Jean Ann Shotting, Mary Jo Wilen, Patricia Seegers, and Sarah Lynn Blatnik as well as by his four grandchildren; Nicholas Blatnik, Kenneth Robert Shotting, Dustin Wilen, and Kristen Seegers.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 27, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Moon Township, PA.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, March 1, at 11:30 a.m. at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Hancock, MD.  Mr. Shotting will be laid to rest in St. Peter’s Catholic Cemetery in Hancock, MD., next to his parents, Charles and Florence McCusker Shotting; his late wife, Sarah T. Shotting; and his sister, Mary Ellen Shotting.
