Anna Peck

Anna Jean (Bishop) Peck, age 73, of Warfordsburg, Pa., passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2018, at her home.

Born Monday, October 9, 1944, in Allentown, Pa., she was the daughter of the late John Russell Bishop and Jessie Leona (Divelbliss) Bishop Gallion.

She was a member of the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, in Hancock, Md.

Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years as a seamstress for London Fog Mfg.

Her greatest pleasures were spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and dancing with her husband. She also loved to garden.

Anna is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Wilbur James Peck, Jr.; a son, Wilbur James Peck, III and his wife, Penny, of Hancock, Md.; two daughters, Anna M. Schultz, of Warfordsburg, and Lisa K. Dearborn and her husband, Patrick, of Naples, Fl.; two brothers, William Raymond Bishop and his wife, Sharon, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and Charles Filmore Bishop and his wife, Jean, of Hancock; three sisters, Jessie Marie Shaw and her husband, Stanley, of Hancock, Mary Jane Younker, of Hagerstown, Md., and Debra McDaniels and her husband, Steven, of Mount Olive, Ms.; nine grandchildren, David Jr., Aaron, Tessa, and Paige Schultz, Casey Murray, Wilbur J. IV, and Mariah Peck, Melody Madzar and Cooper Dearborn; eleven great-grandchildren; and a very special step-father, Lewis Sam Gallion, of Hancock.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Russell, Robert, and Harry Bishop, and Randy and Barry Lynn Gallion; and two sisters, Donna M. Johnson and Erma Rosetta Waugh.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 21, 2018, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 W. Main St., Hancock, Md., and for one hour at the Church, prior to the services on Friday.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., at the Mt. Olivet Presbyterian Church, 14253 Exline Road, Hancock, Md., with Rev. Philip E. Unger officiating. Burial will follow in the Church cemetery.
