Danny Mack Crouse, age 55, of Needmore, Pa., died on Sunday, March 20, 2016, near Fort Littleton, Pa.
Born March 12, 1961, in McConnellsburg, Pa., he was the son of Estalene Yvonne ( Mellott) Crouse, of Needmore, and the late Leonard Mack Crouse. He was the husband of Denise K. (Shank) Crouse, whom he married December 7, 1989, in Honolulu, Hawaii.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in Hancock, Md.
He graduated from Southern Fulton High School; held an AA degree in Business Management; held an Auctioneer’s Certificate; and he was a certified machinist. He was employed by the Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission.
He was a member of the Southern Fulton School Board, and the Southern Fulton Education Foundation; the Warfordsburg Lions Club; and he was the assistant Scout Master of Troop 35 of the Boy Scouts of America.
He was an entrepreneur, and held the patent on the Mission Stick.
In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by one daughter, Emmaline Crouse, of Clear Spring, Md.; one son, Cameron Crouse, at home; one brother, David Crouse, of Warfordsburg, Pa.; and one sister, Donna Dildy, of Virginia Beach, Va.
Besides his father, he was also preceded in death by a sister, Diane Crouse.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 24, at 11:00 a.m., at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 200 Douglas Street, Hancock, Md. Bishop Lance Hendershot will preside. Burial will follow in the Buck Valley Methodist Cemetery, in Warfordsburg, Pa.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 2:00 until 4:00 and 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Church.
