Herbert Fink

Hancock, Maryland

Herbert Henry Fink, age 75, of Hancock, Md., passed away at his home, on Friday, December 29, 2017.

Born May 11, 1942, in Washington County, Md., he was the son of the late Ernest W. Fink and Mildred (Divelbliss) Fink Keefer; and the husband, for 55 years, of Eleanor (Hill) Fink.

He attended Hancock High School; and was employed by Kirk Ford Sales for 35 years as their Service Manager.

He was a past member of the Hancock Lions Club; and had served as president and manager of the Hancock Little League.

In addition to his wife, Herbert is survived by two daughters, Connie L. Smith and her husband, Paul, of Mercersburg, Pa., and Tammy L. Wills and her husband, Rocky, of Hancock; five grandchildren, Nathan and Kyle Smith, Mallory (Smith) Shambaugh, and Chris and Shawnda Wills; and six great-granchildren, Cainan Smith, Hadley and Ellie Shambaugh, Chloe and Carter Wills, and Sophia Chaney.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Dennis and Wilbur (Gob) Fink and Ezra Divelbliss; and two sisters, Shelby (Jean) Starliper and Evelyn Faith.

Services are to be private, at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements were handled by the Grove Funeral Home, in Hancock, Md.
