Joseph H. Hockman, Jr., age 47, of Hagerstown, Md., died on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at his home.

Born Wednesday, January 29, 1969, in Baltimore, Md., he was the son of Evelyn V. (Ritchie) Hockman, and the late Joseph H. Hockman, Sr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by three sons, Joseph H. Hockman, lll and Jeremy Hockman, both of Hagerstown, Md., and Gunner Hockman, of Clear Spring, Md.; three daughters, Holly Hockman, of Hagerstown, Britanna Haddad, of Walkersville, Md., and Cierra Hockman of Clear Spring; two brothers, Earnest E. Hockman, of Greencastle, Pa. and Eston Hockman of Hancock, Md.; three sisters, Sherry Hockman, of Hagerstown, Marie Wetzel, of Hancock, and Julie Hose, of Keedysville, Md.; one granddaughter, Sophie Hockman, of Hagerstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., at the Rose Hill Cemetery, 600 South Potomac Street, Hagerstown, Md. Rev. Harry Strite will officiate.
