Lou Belle (Wolfe) Owens, age 62, of Hedgesville, W.Va., died on Saturday, April 15, 2017, at the Morgan County War Memorial Hospital, in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.

Born Thursday, August 5, 1954, in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Elmer E. and Virginia (Carnack) Wolfe, and the widow of Harry P. Owens.

She was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Beth Buskirk and husband, Scott, of Hancock, Md.; two sisters, Dotti Staubs, of Williamsport, Md., and Margaret Hull, of Eaton, N.C.; two brothers, James. L Wolfe, of Martinsburg, W.Va., and Larry L. Wolfe, of Hagerstown, Md.; and eight grandchildren, Tori, Trevor, Tara, Venessa, Alexia, Brianna, and Chandler.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Elsworth Manny Wolfe and Vernon David Wolfe.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the St. Thomas’ Episcopal Church, 2 East High Street, Hancock, Md., from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at the church at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.  Burial will follow in the St. Peter Catholic Cemetery.

The family requests that contributions, in her name, may be made to Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md., to help defray final expenses.
