Patricia "Patsy" Shank

Warfordsburg, Pennsylvania

Patricia “Patsy” Ann (Norris) Shank, age 84, passed away on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at her home.

Born Saturday, October 21, 1933, in Hancock, Md., she was the daughter of the late Eugene Henry and Alberta Grace (Pittman) Norris.

Patsy graduated from Hancock High School with the class of 1952.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, in Hancock, Md.

In her earlier years, Patsy worked at Malone’s Pharmacy, in Hancock.

She is survived by her loving husband, Vaughn A. Shank, to whom she was married for fifty-five years; a daughter, Denise K. Crouse, of Needmore, Pa.; a son, Brian W. Shank and his wife, Michelle K., of Warfordsburg; four grandchildren, Emmaline Moser, of Clear Spring, Md., Cameron Crouse, of Needmore, and Breanne and Levi Shank, of Warfordsburg; a brother, Edward Norris, of Martinsburg, W.Va.; and a sister, Alberta Wink, of Tarpon Springs, Fla.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Eldena Youngblood; and a son-in-law, Danny Mack Crouse.

Funeral services will be held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 200 Douglas Ave., Hancock, Md., on Friday, November 24, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. Brother Tracy Weller will officiate. Burial will follow in the Buck Valley Methodist Cemetery, in Warfordsburg.

The family will receive friends at the Church two hours prior to the service, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
