Wanda J. Bivens, age 91, of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., died on Monday, December 21, at the Hospice of the Panhandle, in Kearneysville, W.Va.

Born January 21, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Willis E. and Edith L. Culp Shives, and the widow of Grant V. Bivens, who died January 28, 1988.

Wanda was a member of the Rehoboth United Methodist Church, in Needmore, Pa., where she was director of the Cemetery Association and Secretary/Treasurer for the Church.

She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a sister, Ruth L. Bartgis; and a brother, Edward Shives.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2015, at 11:00 a.m., at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md. Rev. Frank Kocek and Rev. Delmas Bard will officiate.

The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home on Sunday, December 27, from 2 until 4 p.m. and 6 until 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name may be made to the Rehoboth United Methodist Church Cemetery, or Building Fund, c/o Helen Layton, 1792 Layton Rd., Warfordsburg, Pa. 17238
