Anita Weller

Hancock, MD

Anita Jane Weller, 65, of Hancock, MD., passed away Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Meritus Medical Center, in Hagerstown, MD.

Born November 5, 1956, in Berkeley Springs, WV., she was the daughter of the late Edgar Lee St. Clair and Lafaune McCormick St. Clair and the wife of J. Keith Weller, whom she married on May 8, 1998.

She was an assembler at Rayloc in Hancock for over 30 years.

She was a 1974 Graduate of Hancock High School.

She attended Orchard Ridge Church of God.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Sarah Sipes, of Hancock, MD.; three step-daughters; four sisters, Bonnie Peck and Kimberly Shoemaker, both of Hancock, MD., and Susan Summers and Norma Neilson, both of Berkeley Springs, WV.; one sister-in-law, Diane St. Clair, of Hancock, MD.; three grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and one step-great-grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Michael St. Clair.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 20, 2022, 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm, at Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main St, Hancock, MD. Funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, January 21, 2022, at 11:00 am.  Rev. Jeffrey Hawbaker will officiate.  Burial will follow at Damascus Christian Church, 717 Big Cove Tannery Rd, Big Cove Tannery, PA 17212.
