Linda Mae Iden, age 75, of Hancock, Md., passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at her home.
Born December 11, 1944, in West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Louella French; and the wife of Paul M. Iden, Sr.
She attended school in Berkeley Springs, W.Va.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Paul M. Iden, Jr. and his wife, JoAnn, of Warfordsburg, Pa.; a daughter, Karen L. Iden and companion, Robert Bowers, of Pennsboro, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Bradley Iden, Kyle Mellott, and Amanda Iden; three great-grandchildren, Benjamin Iden, Gaige Zahm, and Jaslyn Zahm; two brothers, Junior Evans and his wife, Norma, and Ray Evans and his wife, Shirley; a sister, Shirley Kuykendall; and many nieces and nephews.
Linda touched many lives. She enjoyed spending time with her family; and loved making crafts and quilting. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for her family.
The family will receive friends at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, on Monday, February 17, 2020, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., and for one hour prior to her funeral services on Tuesday.
Funeral services will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 18, 2020, at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. Edward Blank officiating. Burial will follow in the Orchard Ridge First Church of God cemetery, 13642 Orchard Ridge Road, in Hancock.
