Lloyd A. Timmons, Sr.

Lloyd A. Timmons, Sr., 86, of Berkeley Springs, WV., passed away Sunday, February 19, 2023, at War Memorial Nursing Center, Berkeley Springs, WV.

Born August 16, 1936, in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Lloyd D. and Mary E. Timmons.

He was employed at Hepburn Orchards in his younger years and continued working on farms for many years.

He retired from Hagerstown Block in 2000.

He is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Ratcliff and Dawn Faith; six sons, Lloyd Jr., Brian, Fabian, Craig and Dean Timmons and Christopher Pierce; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; five sisters, Anna Moats, Karen King, Julia Hall, Rosalee Smith, and Carleda Stinevock; and two brothers, Luther and Bill Timmons.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Mort and one brother, Leroy Timmons.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 23, 2023, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, MD.  Funeral services will follow at 12:00 at the funeral home and interment after at Parkhead Cemetery, 9512 National Pike, Big Pool, MD. Reverend Rodney Truax will officiate.
