Raymond "Jr" Fischer, Jr.

Raymond “Jr” Roy Fischer, Jr., 56, Hancock, MD., passed away December 10, 2022, in Hagerstown, MD.

Born November 9, 1966, in Berkeley Springs, WV., he was the son of the late Frances May (Hiles) Thompson and Raymond Roy Fischer, Sr., and the step-son of the late Earlston Eugene Thompson, Sr.

He was employed as a hauler operator at C. William Hetzer, Hagerstown, MD. He also worked as a tree trimmer for many years and gas attendant at Little Sandys Truck Stop in Hancock.

He enjoyed fishing, camping and had a love for working on lawn mowers.

His favorite holiday was Christmas. He loved to decorate the outside of his home for everyone to enjoy.

He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Lynch Fischer, Hancock, MD.; one daughter, Samantha Sowers, and husband, Michael, Hancock, MD.; two grandchildren, Ethan Sowers and Annabell Sowers, Hancock, MD., two sisters, Virgie Iden, Hagerstown, MD., and Malindia Miller, Berkeley Springs, WV.

In addition to his parents and step-father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Earlston Eugene Thompson, Jr.; and two step-brothers, Roger Thompson, and Thomas Thompson, Sr.
