Sherry Rosalie Trail, age 72, of Hancock, Md., passed away on November 9, 2020 at her home, as a result of dementia.

Born September 20, 1948, in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Jesse and Francis (Martin) Lesher.

She attended St. Mary’s Catholic School and North Hagerstown High School, both in Hagerstown.

She was formerly employed by Maryland Ribbon Company, High’s, Pit Stop, and Walmart.  She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband of fifty years, Ronald Lee Trail; two sons, Ronald D. Trail and his wife, Kendra, of Hancock, and John J. Trail and his wife, Lisa, of Mount Airy, Md.; one grandson, Jaret Trail; three granddaughters, Jenae Parkolay, and Sarah and Emily Trail; two great-grandsons, Andrew Molina, and Lawson Trail; and one sister, Donna Brady, of Hagerstown, Md.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Geraldine Mongan, and Glenna Moore.

The family will receive friends at the Hancock Assembly of God church, 431 N. Pennsylvania Ave., Hancock, on Thursday, November 12, 2020, from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., and for one hour prior to the services to be held at the church on Friday, November 13, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. Rev. William E. Davis will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers, donations in her name may be made to Hospice of Washington County, 747 Northern Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21742.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Grove Funeral Home, in Hancock. Online condolences will be accepted at www.grovefh.com
