Thomas Fletcher

Thomas Lee Fletcher, age 70, of Little Orleans, Md., passed away on Sunday, August 8, 2021, at UPMC Western Maryland, in Cumberland, Md.

He was born in Berkeley Springs, W.Va., on November 25, 1950, the son of the late Clem D. Fletcher and Daisy A. (Ashkettle) Fletcher.

He was a graduate of Flintstone High School, in Flintstone, Md., with the class of 1968; and was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Army.

He attended the Piney Plains United Methodist Church.

He is survived by a sister, Donna Littleton and her husband, Bob, of Little Orleans; four brothers, Denzel Fletcher of Salisbury, Md., Gary Fletcher, of Martinsburg, W.Va., Allan Fletcher and his wife, Wilma, of Little Orleans, and Charles Fletcher, of Little Orleans; eleven nieces and nephews; and a number of great and great-great nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 11, 2021, from 10:00 until 12:00 noon at the Grove Funeral Home, 141 West Main Street, Hancock, Md. The funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon, with Pastors Mark Faith and Jerry Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Price Cemetery, in Little Orleans.
